The MPA retained Red Rock Global to complete a
highest and best use analysis and redevelopment
strategy for 2 acres of public land and the first
public garage built in the 1970’s (Garage 1).
Red Rock Global assembled an additional one
acre tract, enabling the development one of
Miami’s most significant mixed use development
in the Courthouse district of Downtown.
Immediately adjacent to the new federal
courthouse, the project included a 1,000 space
parking garage and 30,000 square feet of retail
and office. As the economic climate changed
in Miami, Red Rock Global value engineered
the development to a level that supported
public development without unnecessary
speculative risk. The project was completed on
time and below budget, and exists as one of
the City’s most notable successes Downtown.
